Miles Harrison

Miles Harrison (or MP Harrison) is a Director, Writer, Photographer, and Performance Artist. Originally from Rochester NY, he is currently based in Brooklyn.

Miles has received his BA from the University of Rochester where he studied English, Economics, and Mathematics. In the summer of 2022 he studied performance at the National Theater Institute’s summer “Theatermakers” program. In the Fall of 2022 he learned classical theater techniques and history in the city of Bath, England, as part of the “Advanced Studies in England” program, culminating with his thesis on the history and philosophy of fringe theater. He is currently taking directing classes with Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at the Barrow Group.

Select acting credits include CON in Stupid Fucking Bird (2022 Charles I. Keelan Memorial Award) MURPH in Taking Shakespeare, and LUCIUS in Titus Andronicus. Select directing credits include The Aliens by Annie Baker (2023 Mark C. Perlberg ’78 Endowed Directing Prize in Theater). In addition, Miles is a published poet, with work appearing in various magazines such as Lodestar Lit. and 20 to Life.
